I have watched it twice and I love it, great story,and the cast is fantastic. Ready for next week to see if Dave can find out why the water is blue ;D and that headline Ripper Found Guilty. ;D I love it.  |

I highly enjoyed it, lots of characters with personality and a story that is very intruiging. I cannot wait for the next episode to see the story unfold! I didn't like RTN that much, desperate catchphrases throughout and I just didn't care for the characters at all. The personalities of Max and Paddy have been ruined a bit in my opinion. Could there be another Phoenix Nights? I really hope so, but also hope that Dave etc. are back to co. write, because Dead Man Weds is proving so far where the real comedy talent of PN came from. Shame really because I really wanted RTN to be good...but alas my suspicions were proven to be correct  Role on DMW episode 2! *claps!!!* |

Really enjoyed episode 1. Wasn't sure what tack it would take being on ITV1 rather than Beeb 2 or CH4, but its good. (Then again I do like Hardware  ) I love Keith Barron, brilliant casting. |

well I've watched a couple of episodes now so I feel that I've seen enough to comment and suprisingly I think its alright. Its by no means as good as Pheonix Nights and in the second episode th only bit that really made me laugh was Vegas' "oh...my....god" but its watchable. Some bits don't work imho but then I can be quite a fussy viewer at times. I'm not sure that the giant brocolli is going to tickle me but lets wait and see eh? |

I reckon it's pretty good... but I agree with "not as good on Phoenix Nights" but then that would be asking A LOT... it's not something I would rush out and buy when the DVD comes out... not like Max & Paddy...

I have to admit, I was surprised to admit that I liked Dead Man Weds. I've never been very sure of Johnny Vegas but he's actually pretty good in this. If nothing else it's a good hearted chuckle, which I like. Well done Mr Spikey! |

Can't believe this fab serious is over! It was pretty fantastic with some good subtle humour. Don't know if there can be a second series as I think it would be better as a one off but it shows what Spikey can do! I'm going to miss it! Gems x |
