Hi,
Just thought I'd introduce myself. My name's Emma, I'm 21 and I'm from the Preston posse. I'm quite new to this messaging malarky.
I'm dead excited, i'm off to see Peter Kay this evening at blackpool opera house.

3 times, bloody hell Mand!!!!
The show was brilliant and it was only my second time of seeing it. The whole blackpool show was really good, Archie Kelly, Paddy and Pete are my heroes.
Where abouts did you sit? I was in the stalls, I only found out about the show last week and had to get my tickets off ebay. My boyfriend had never seen Peter Kay before so we decided to splash out a little bit because he doesn't tour much.
What do you think of Paddy & Max?

Hi Emma. I was sitting on the circle, 2 rows from the front so the view was really good. We got our tickets as soon as we'd been to the Manchester show and had decided to go to the show in Blackpool on the 12th. It was only then that we found out about last week's so booked both straight away! Y'know what? I thought the 1st episode of Max & Paddy was great but this week's wasn't as funny. (apart from the bit when Paddy went to make his porn film!!) I'm sure this week's will be back to top form.

I didn't think the second one was as funny either, but I still liked it, I thought, it gave a bit more insight into the characters which is something that Phoenix Nights didn't do.
I'm glad you liked the show in Blackpool, it was a shame that it wasn't filmed, I would love to watch it on DVD. Everyone keeps asking me for new Peter Kay jokes and the only one i can remember is the muslim dog joke!!!

Hiya! I know what you mean about people asking about the jokes you heard - can't remember many either but remember laughin' like mad at the time!! I loved the part in Steve Edge's set when he was talkin' about the 80's - so true. (I was a teen in the 80's myself so know what he meant!!) I used to think I was it in my ra-ra skirt n legwarmers!!! Think I'm going to see Justin Moorhouse at the Comedy Store in Manchester 3/12 so hope I'll remember some of HIS jokes!

Hi Pats, Wicky and Cowhead. I'm getting tickets to see Dave Spikey when he comes to Preston. I saw him last January in rochdale on his overnight success tour. It was fantastic. He toured with Steve Royle and it was a corker, one of the funniest comedians I have seen.
He's got a new series coming out soon, January 5th I think, have a look out for it, it's called Dead Man Weds. x x

Hi all! Glad I got to see JOTB, it was brill! 3 times just wasn't enough, hope there's gonna be another leg at some point. Finally got to see PK live, he was great. He's right about the P.E. thing, what WAS the point of walkin' on a turned over bench?!!! I'm going to see Dave Spikey on 12th Dec in Manchester, REALLY looking forward to that. Just watched episode 4 of Max & Paddy, how funny was that?!!! Gonna get a brew and watch it again in a minute! (no Rich Tea biccies though!)
