We live in a bungalow. One hot summer evening the windows were open allowing a cool breeze through to the bedroom when the calm was shattered by next doors boyfriend knocking on the widow of their house , mouthing loudly and no doubt holding up his phone to show her.
"see you tomorrow i'll text you, yeah, i'll text you. o.k.? what?. i'll text you, what?,yeah, i'll text you. "
Why didn't he just go to the front door and say that. it would have saved him 10p

I once threw myself under a car in order to get a free ride to hospital in ambulance, rather than pay the taxi fare there. I was only going to see some bugger I didn't even like anyway.
