FINALLY its been 2 years since my house was built and BT have finally decided to lay down the lines 2 enable me to get broadband well on the 28th of may, can anyone tell me the best/cheapest provider or server whatever you call it thanx a lot ;D cHrIs

They have improved, but the service is still prone to problems. I would suggest you look at Pipex and Nildram, and these two ISPs have the best reputations among broadband providers. Nildram had problems a few months ago, so I think I'd go for Pipex. Funk

I'm with Blueyonder and on the whole they're pretty good.
I pay £35 a month for 1Mb access.
They have a new 2Mb service on the way soon as well!

I've had AOL Broadband for about 4 months now and have had no problems, except for the incredibly small wire they sent in the installation box.
I must admit that it is not the fastest broadband around, but is still pretty quick compared to 56k dial up

If your going to get NTL then dont use USB, use Ethernet. When I used USB it always crashed and I always had to re-boot my computer, plus I couldn't use my printer because that was USB.

it suits me fine
