Word from the wash house is that Bob Williamson has recorded a Tv programme for ITV about the change in football from the 1970's till now. Anyone else remember warm Bulls Eye brown ale at Burnden Park oryou could pronounce the players names?. He'll be singing a song on May 20th ITV, such lines as:
f you had drunken too much beer and needed to relieve it You'd go down to the gents and, well, you wouldn't quite believe it Your shoes were wet, your socks were damp, the whole place smelt of Stilton Bit nowadays the bogs look like the foyer at the Hilton
I'm sure Bob would appreciate your funny football memories. Give it a watch anyway
