In the People today Peter earned himself a nice 4m from is tours.It says wife Susan still works at Boots in her home town of Bolton and there is no amount of money or fame will make her give up her job. He told the paper hes always messing about but it gets a bit tiring after a while he confessed. It also says it earned him cult status which we all know, it is nice to have him in the press when its all good.

The thing that gets me about that article is that the writer is aghast that Susan would want to keep her Boots job - Good on her, I say !
It proves that Susan is not content to sit on her arse, while Peter rakes in all the money.
In all the time Peter has been famous, he has never ( as far as I know ) appeared in a bad light in the papers.

I have not ever read anything bad about Peter in the news and I dont thing I ever will do, I put in my message its nice to have him in the press when its all good only because when you get known they are the first people to try to get at you.

peter deserves everything he gets, he's a true legend, in my eyes he is THE only comedian of our time!!
and no ive never ever seen him reported in bad light. and susan works hard, so she should, i admire her for keepin her feet on the ground and staying down to earth - good on her!!

Susan's family are extremely well off, so it's pretty clear that the money from PK wouldn't change her. If she'd wanted to be a lady of leisure, she would have been a long time ago! |
